Clean Up Australia Day

                   Clean Up Australia Day

Clean up Australia Day is  an annual event that happens every year the on the 3rd of March.
The purpose of this event is to encourage people in Australia to take responsibility for clearing their local  areas, for instance, towns, cities, beaches, bushlands and schools of pollution. The event was created by a man called Ian Kiernan, who was very unsatisfied with the condition our land.

In 1990  the  first Nation took part in this type of event. Since then Australians from all places within the country volunteer every year to clean up Australia.
