Clean Up Australia Day

                   Clean Up Australia Day

Clean up Australia Day is  an annual event that happens every year the on the 3rd of March.
The purpose of this event is to encourage people in Australia to take responsibility for clearing their local  areas, for instance, towns, cities, beaches, bushlands and schools of pollution. The event was created by a man called Ian Kiernan, who was very unsatisfied with the condition our land.

In 1990  the  first Nation took part in this type of event. Since then Australians from all places within the country volunteer every year to clean up Australia.

To be able participate in this event  you need to  have access to the local areas.
Firstly get the permission to access the Clean up Site. Secondly organise the removal rubbish and confirm with the council. Thirdly register at one of the Clean Up Sites online. For  additional help promote the Clean Up Australia in local

Getting know me!

Hi all!
My name is Ekaterina, but people call me Kat or Katya. I am from Uzbekistan, but I have lived in Australia for 9 years.

As you may tell from my background, I have experienced a vast contrast of cultures, and love learning about, and meeting people from all parts of the world. Travel would be at the top of my wish list, closely followed by sport , community work and of course, fashion!
